Heritage University Help Center has been established for you!
 
The purpose of the Help Center is to provide first line troubleshooting and support services for staff, faculty and students on issues related to the use of computer hardware, software, internet, audio visual and other Heritage technology.

Walk-In Service and Support Hours

Phone support is available by dialing 509-865-8579 or from anywhere on campus dial HELP (4357)
 
Walk-In Support is available by visiting the Rick & Myra Gagnier Hall (1300)
 
Office hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday thru Friday
 
*Extended hours will be available the first two weeks of Spring and Fall Semesters Monday - Thursday 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM (Excluding Friday)*

Online Support available during normal Help Center Hours. Please leave a message after hours and the Help Center will return your message the following business day.

Notices to Students
Higher Education Opportunity Act (.pdf, 32K)
Heritage University and Compliance with the Higher Education Opportunity Act. Document details the reduction of illegal uploading and downloading of copyrighted works through peer-to-peer (P2P) file sharing. Please read this document thoroughly as it outlines your rights.

If you are having trouble viewing MyHeritage, please try clearing your cache.

In most computer-based web browsers, to open menus used to clear your cache, cookies, and history, press Ctrl-Shift-Delete (Windows) or Command-Shift-Delete (Mac). If this doesn't work, contact the Help Center at ext. 4357 or 509-865-8579.


Password Management

All faculty, staff and students can use the MyHeritage Password Management System to reset forgotten passwords. Click here to access. This system is only available to faculty, staff and students.
 
Individuals who are applying to Heritage University and are having problems with their login can contact the Help Center during normal support hours (please be prepared to prove your identity over the phone and at minimum have your ID number available). Please check the Help Center home page for contact information and service and support hours. 

Wireless Internet

We have upgraded the HU-WiFi system on campus.

     • You must remove/forget the HU-WiFi network if your device was connected to the old system.
            a. Windows 7- Control Panel -> Network and Sharing ->Manage Wireless Networks -> Click on HU-WiFi-> Remove
            b. Android- Settings ->WiFi -> Click on HU-WiFi -> Forget
            c. Apple- Settings -> WiFi-> Click the blue arrow to the right of HU-WiFi -> Forget this network

 
For Students, Staff and Faculty to connect:

      • Select HU-WiFi and click connect
  • Choose if you would like to save the connection or not
You can now access the internet.
 
 
For PA Students to connect to their Network dedicated for Testing purposes:
  • Select PA-WiFi
  • Choose connect automatically
  • Enter your Heritage username and password and click Connect
You can now access the internet.

Computer Labs for Students

Open computer labs are offered in the Academic Skills Center and Donald K. North Library in the Kathleen Ross Center. These labs offer Windows 7 with Microsoft Office 2013. Available browsers are Internet Explorer 11, Firefox and Chrome.

Additional labs located in Arts and Sciences, HUD, Heritage Village and Kathleen Ross Center offer Windows 7 with Microsoft Office 2013. Available browsers are Internet Explorer 11, Firefox and Chrome.

Work Order Management for IT and Maintenance

Work orders can be created for both IT and the Maintenance office.
