Retrieve Your Student ID{expander}

When you meet with your advisor, visit the Financial Aid Office, or use student services on campus, they will ask you for your student identification number (Student ID). If you forget your Student ID number, you can retrieve it from MyHeritage.

To retrieve Student ID:

  1. Log into MyHeritage
  2. Click “Retrieve My ID” in the gray menu located on the left-hand side.

If you do not have your log-in credentials, visit the IT Help Desk located in Gagnier Hall for assistance. Bring some form of identification with you. 

Update Your Contact Information{expander}

Keeping your contact information up to date is vital for ensuring you receive communications from the university.

To update contact information, do the following:

  1. Log into MyHeritage
  2. Click on  located in the top right corner
  3. Select the My profile & settings option
  4. In the left-hand corner, you will see a menu. Select Contact information.
  5. Then, select the contact information you need to update or add. Input your updated info and when finished, click Save.
  6. You may notice your information looks the same once you click save. It will update once it is processed. 

Remember, if there is a change in your mailing address or phone number, you should update your contact info as soon as possible. 

Check for Holds{expander}

Each semester there are several tasks students must complete to enroll in classes. These tasks can include filing FASFA/WASFA, submitting an award letter, setting up a payment plan, and submitting verification forms if selected for Financial Aid Verification. All account holds must be taken care of as soon as possible. Not resolving a hold may keep you from viewing your classes on MyHeritage or even being dropped from your courses.

To check for account holds, do the following.

  1. Log into MyHeritage
  2. Click on the Students tab on the blue ribbon header towards the top of the page.
  3. Under the Finances header, you will see a list of options. Select See My Holds.

If you have any account holds, you will see them listed in See My Holds.

Remember, If you have a hold, you must resolve it as soon as possible. If not, you risk losing your current class schedule.

Financial Aid Office (Located in the Student Services Building or Online): The Financial Aid Office works with all things FASFA, WASFA, and scholarships. Documents to resolve financial aid holds can be found and submitted online. Student Accounts (Located in the Student Services Building or Online): Student Accounts is the place to go if you need to set up a payment plan or make a payment. You can access student accounts on MyHeritage. Read Making a Payment Online or Set-up a Payment Plan below for instructions to access student accounts online. For any questions regarding holds from Student Accounts, contact the Student Accounts at StudentAccounts@heritage.edu or (509) 865-8507.

Admissions (Located in the Student Services Building): Admissions is the place to visit if you need to submit a transcript. 

 

It is good practice to check for holds and resolve them at least two weeks before the start of every semester. 

Where to Access Financial Aid Forms on MyHeritage{expander}

Below are the steps to access available financial aid forms on MyHeritage.

  1. Log into MyHeritage
  2. Hover over the Students tab on the blue header a menu will appear
  3. Select the Financial Aid option
  4. Scroll down to see which forms are available

Financial Aid Document Tracking{expander}

Using the Financial Aid Document Tracker, you can view which forms you need to submit to Financial Aid and their status. 

To track your financial aid documents, follow the instructions below.

    1. Log into MyHeritage
    2. Hover over Students
    3. Click on Financial Aid
    4. Scroll down to the header labeled, Financial Aid Document Tracking and click on the link that says View Financial Aid Document Tracking

Setting up a Payment Plan & Making a Payment Online{expander}

To set up a payment plan online through MyHeritage, follow the steps below.

  1. Log into MyHeritage
  2. Hover over Students on the blue header
  3. Click on Student Accounts in the menu
  4. Once on the page, refer to the title header labeled Payment Plan
  5. Then, click on Click here to access a Payment Plan

To make a payment online through MyHeritage, follow the steps below.

  1. Log into MyHeritage
  2. In the grey menu on the upper left-hand side, select Make a Payment
  3. Then, click on Click Here to Make your Online Payment
