I earned at BA in Psychology from Western Washington University in 1996 and an MSW from Eastern Washington University in 2001. My professional background includes 8 years in the field of domestic violence and sexual assault, as well as some time spent in children's mental health and in a group home setting for children with developmental disabilities. I have experience with direct individual services, support groups, program and grant management and supervision. I've been a full-time faculty member at Heritage since 2007. I started as the Field Director overseeing field practicum placements, and I became the Chair of the program in 2016.
