Description

This course introduces the fundamental concepts of environmental law and justice. It familiarizes students with the various legal mechanisms used to protect the environment. A practical grounding in the basic legal concepts central to environmental law and how it applies at the local, state, national and international levels. Students will explore the foundation of environmental institutions and their relationships with the concept of justice and the environmental community. Offered alternate spring semesters. Prerequisite(s): ENG 102, ENSC 101 or permission of Program Chair.
