Description
Advanced study of world literature from the 1600's to the present. Representative works from a wide range of periods, languages, and cultures (both Western and non-Western) will be considered. Special attention will be given to works with major literary and/or historical significance, emphasizing research with primary and secondary sources. Offered Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters. Prerequisite(s): ENG 102. Recommneded: lower-level introduction to literature or advanced literature course or permission of Program Chair.
