Description
Small-group and/or computer-assisted instruction, with emphasis on the critical reading of academic texts, improvement of reading speed and flexibility, and strengthening of vocabulary skills. Students read, analyze, and paraphrase typical university-level texts in order to prepare themselves to be effective participants in future classes. may be repeated for a maximum of two semesters. Graded as pass/no pass and not applicable to degree programs. Offered fall and spring semesters.
