Description
Clinical rotations will take place in assigned affiliate clinical laboratories. Students will rotate through Core laboratory which includes chemistry, hematology/hemostasis, urinalysis, and body fluids. Immunohematology and microbiology will round out the clinical experience. Sites are assigned to provide the student with experience in a variety of lab settings from small rural clinical laboratories to larger level 2 trauma hospital laboratories. Students are expected to complete assigned competencies in each rotation. Prerequisite(s): Admittance to MLS Program. Successful completion of MLS Program didactic components
