Description

Building on students’ knowledge of the impacts of racism and oppression, this course will promote awareness and skills to engage in anti-racist practice. Students will understand how diversity and intersectionality affect equity and inclusion at all system levels. Students will understand cultural humility and recognize the extent to which a culture’s structures and values, including social, economic, political, racial, technological, and cultural exclusions, may create privilege and power resulting in systemic oppression. Prerequisite(s): Admission to the MSW program
