Personal Biography

I earned at BA in Psychology from Western Washington University in 1996 and an MSW from Eastern Washington University in 2001. My professional background includes 8 years in the field of domestic violence and sexual assault, as well as some time spent in children's mental health and in a group home setting for children with developmental disabilities. I have experience with direct individual services, support groups, program and grant management and supervision. I've been a full-time faculty member at Heritage since 2007.  I started as the Field Director overseeing field practicum placements, and I became the Chair of the program in 2016.

Description

Independent study of specialized subject matter in social work. Topics vary, depending upon current interests and needs. May be repeated for credit with a new topic. Offered TBA. Prerequisite(s):Limited to majors and permission of Program Chair.
