Introduction

Hi I am Kathy Gardner a Professor in the Social Work Department at Heritage University . I have been a teacher for 11 years at Heritage University and four years with Big Bend Community College in Washington. I am originally from Ohio grew up in Spokane Washington I moved to Moses lake 14 years ago to work in a rural community. I enjoy singing, gardening and exercising I look forward to getting to know you this semester and making this a great semester for learning.

Interest and Hobbies

Hobbies include gardening, tennis and Music

 

Description

Introduction to various forms of family violence with emphasis on child abuse/neglect types and causes, resources, and agencies; and examination of adult responses to child abuse/ neglect; social psychology of abusers, families; multicultural factors; professional self-awareness. Offered Spring semesters.
