Description
Students will acquire a deep understanding of the concepts of elementary mathematics while focusing on mathematical precision, communication, problem solving, mathematics history, and technology integration. Topics will include statistics, probability, geometry, and measurement. The course contents will be connected to the NCTM standards and the common core mathematics standards. Offered Fall and Spring semesters. Prerequisite(s): C or better in MATH 116 - Found Mathematics for Teachers I
