Introduction to rocks and minerals and how they are formed. The natural processes that affect the surface of the earth. The earth's interior structure, earthquakes, volcanoes, and the evolution of the continents. Offered alternate semesters. Prerequisite(s): MATH 096 Co-requisite(s): GEOL 121L
