Description
This course examines the American environmental public policy process and institutional and public advocacy. Students will focus on the evolution of political institutions, the federal and state roles in decision-making, and the global context of American environment public policy. This course emphasizes the intersection of environmental science and public policy while investigating the role individuals and advocacy groups have in the development of environmental policy and influencing corporate and goverment responsibility. Offered fall semesters. Prerequisites(s): ENSC 101, HIS 101W, ENG 102 or permission of Program Chair.
