Description

Conceptual foundations of enviromental chemistry, including atmospheric chemistry, air pollution, energy, water chemistry and pollution, toxic organic compounds, solid state wastes, oxidation-reduction, acids and cases, green chemistry. Laboratory focusses on enviromental sampling and analysis with an emphasis on water-based chemistry. Offered fall semesters. Prerequisite(s) CHEM 105 or CHEM 201 or instructor permission. Co-Requisite(s): ENSC 240L
