Description

Advanced study of American literature from the Pre-Colonial period to the Rise of Realism in the late 19th Century, emphasizing research with primary and secondary sources and teaching the full diversity of American literature. Offered Fall semesters. Prerequisite(s): ENG 102 English Composition II Recommended: Lower-level literature or introduction to literature class or permission of Program Chair.
