Description
This graduate course provides an advanced exploration ofethical theory and its application to complex, real-world issues within educational contexts. Students will engage with foundational moral philosophies—including utilitarianism, deontology, and virtue ethics—to analyze and address contemporary ethical dilemmas faced by educators and leaders.
The curriculum tackles issues concerning the ethical, moral, and civic responsibilities of education, with a strong focus on social justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion. Through critical analysis, academic debate, and case studies, students will develop the capacity to articulate their own informed positions, foster responsible practices, and shape ethical and transformative change within educational systems.
