Description

This introductory course focuses on sharing, modeling and practicing strategies of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) methodology in the elementary classroom. A strong foundation for teaching the STEM disciplines through a problems-based approach within the elementary curriculum will be developed by providing candidates with theoretical frameworks, research, resources, and methods related to appropriate and effective classroom practice. May be offered in a hybrid format. Prerequisite: Math 116 or 117 or equivalent.
