Description
Content of the course is based on the Washington State Benchmarks for Early Learning and Development and National Association for the Education of Young Children Program Standards. This course emphasizes the Domain of Language, Literacy, and Communication. Candidates demonstrate an understanding of language, emerging reading and writing skills, and ability to communicate effectively. Candidates are able to assess, plan instruction, and demonstrate their impact on children's learning in all areas of this domain.
