An introduction to the legal systems, how law comes into being, how it is formed by society and business, how it affects society and business, concepts of business regulation, ethics, property rights and protection. Topics covered include contracts, sales, law warranties, torts, agency, property, and bankruptcy. Prerequisite: Permission of the Program Chair. Offered Spring semesters.
