Description
The environment in which people live contributes to human behavior. This course provides students with an understanding of human behavior across the lifespan in a social context. Students will learn to consider the “Person-in-Environment” through both the individual and the multiple environments with which and within which the individual interacts and understand that the individual and environment share a reciprocal relationship. This framework allows social workers to identify strengths, barriers, and effective interventions more effectively. Prerequisite(s): Admission to the MSW program
