Hi and welcome!
My name is Dr. Brandy Nichols, and I am honored to be part of your educational journey at Heritage University. I hold a Ph.D. in Human and Social Services with a specialization in Family Studies and Intervention from Walden University, as well as graduate and undergraduate degrees in psychology from the University of West Alabama.
Professionally, I serve as the Mental Health Service Coordinator for Thomasville City Schools in Alabama and as an adjunct psychology instructor at Coastal Alabama Community College. My work has allowed me to support students across a variety of educational settings, and I am passionate about helping others understand the connections between psychology, human behavior, relationships, and personal growth.
As your instructor, my goal is to create a supportive learning environment where you feel valued, challenged, and encouraged to think critically about the world around you. I believe that every student brings unique experiences, perspectives, and strengths to the classroom, and I look forward to learning alongside you as we explore the fascinating field of psychology.
I am excited to be part of the Heritage University community and grateful for the opportunity to work with students from diverse backgrounds and experiences. I look forward to getting to know you and supporting your success throughout the course.
