Description
A survey of approaches to literature, including biographical, historical, structural, socio-political, phenomenological, etc., and their application to teaching literature. Students will also be introduced to electronic and print journals and their use in the study of literature. Offered Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters. Recommended: An undergraduate introduction to literature or advanced literature course.
