Description

This is an introductory course in autobiographical writing. In this course, students will read and analyze famous memoirs and examine what makes them work, and students will write interesting vignettes about themselves. We explore narrative voice, the changing shape of memories, and writing styles. There is a short writing assignment each week, and students submit a final portfolio of their revised work. Prerequisite(s): ENG 102 or permission of chair.
