Hello!  My name is Dr. Sara Martinez. 

I am passionate about seeing people unleash their potential and maximize their impact. 

I've been in the educational field for almost 30 years. My journey started as a classroom teacher, then instructional coach for ELL, district ELL coach and trainer, and national teacher trainer for teaching emerging bilingual/multilingual students.  I am a certified consultant with OCDE Project GLADĀ® NTC and have the privilege of training and coaching teachers across the country online and in person. 

It is an honor to work and grow with the committed and talented team of faculty, staff and students at Heritage University.

Description

Investigation of the historical, philosophical, and theoretical background of bilingual/ESL practices in the United States. This course focuses on state and federal legislation and key terminology. Offered Fall semesters.
