Description
Effective communications in organizations, including defining the problem and purpose of the communications, the audience, and the intended results. Focus on writing situational letters, reports, interpersonal communications. Limited coverage of how to conduct meetings, conferences, visual representations, and the like. Case studies will also focus on multicultural and ethical considerations. Research methods are also covered in this course. Prerequisite: BADM 215W or Junior standing, or permission of program chair.
