Is Edinburgh Derby Bigger For Hearts Or Hibs?
Thursday 28th of September 2023Edinburgh is one of Scotland's most multicultural cities, and its derby rivalries are equally fierce. Since their inception on Christmas Day 1875, Hearts & Hibs have been playing each other for over 300 competitive matches - one of which took place this past Sunday!

Both teams are desperately aiming for victory in their last match of the season and this match could make or break their chances. It's an important clash in London and will provide both managers with a huge challenge.
Hibs have won six derbies this season despite their league struggles, including a 2-0 triumph at Easter Road in November when Martin Boyd scored twice. That is their most wins in one league campaign since the late 1970s when they won eight matches and lost four.
